Emma's Story...
Hello...I'm Emma. I came from the streets of Beirut, Lebanon to find a home here in Michigan. I'm young small mixed breed dog (maybe 30lbs) and I have had a rough life so far. I'm hoping to find someone who will love and protect me for life! I was wandering the streets where I was in danger of being poisoned, shot or hit by a car. Someone saved me and because of Animals Lebanon I was able to come to the US to find a family. I'm a sweet girl and love to snuggle. I get nervous with lots of people and need a quieter house without small kids. I do well with some dogs, but would prefer to be an only dog. I am very affectionate and house broken. I am spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped and my adoption fee is $200 to help cover the costs of my vet care and trip here. Please apply to adopt me at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emma, a Grand Rapids Whippet/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Whippet/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Whippet/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Whippet/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Whippet/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
