My name is Sadie and I am new to SERPA. My family could not afford my vet care so they contact SEPRA. SEPRA immediately took me to the vet and I am on the road to recovery already. I have skin allergies that caused a lot of hair loss and I am now on meds and a prescription food and doing much better. I will have a dental done soon and along with a follow up on my back knees. I am a very active 6 year old little girl who loves life and wants attention! I am great with other dogs and am looking forward to finding a new family soon! I will keep everyone updated on my progress.
I am so excited - the vet has said I can be adopted! My skin is SOOOO much better (we think it was due to a flea allergy), my hair is growing in nicely. I have been fully vetted and even had my teeth cleaned so I am ready for my new family. My foster dad says that I am super sweet and very active for a six year old. I think all of my energy is because I feel so much better - I can finally live like a PUG! Please apply for me!
This lovely 4 year old came to SEPRA with skin and joint issues that have pretty much been resolved with TLC and a safe environment. She can run like the wind and snuggle like a champ. The perfect size for any lap at 13 pounds, Sadie adjusted quickly to her foster environments and is what we might call a stable pug. She likes other dogs (ones that are not too bossy) and thinks cats are fun to chase.
In her time in foster care she has been very obedient and has learned commands in a very short amount of time. She loves walks but is fine to be just in a fenced yard. She is potty trained and can be crated, although she might prefer just a doggie door for any more than 4 hours. This little girl prefers to be in bed at night and is a good warm friend to snuggle with. Sadie snores spectacularly so you won’t be bothered by any other sounds outside the room for sure!
Strangest thing, she cannot stand hairdryers, dishwashers and mechanical noises. She does fine once removed from them, but her new family might want to know that quirk. Her knees are a bit out of joint and loose but have not slowed her down at all. She is sweet toward children and is not bugged by the little worries of life.
