Nina's Story...
Nina is a 10 month old mixed breed. She was brought to the shelter as a stray wearing a collar and tags. The shelter has made several attempts to contact her owner but have been unsuccessful. Nina is not available for adoption until all resources have been used to locate her owner. If you are interested in adopting Nina, please contact the shelter daily for an update. Nina is still very much a puppy and is full of playful energy! She knows "sit" and "shake" and loves to play fetch with her toys! Can you give Nina the loving forever home she deserves?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nina, a Johnstown Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Johnstown, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Johnstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Johnstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Johnstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Johnstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
