Katy's Story...
We were called by the shelter and asked if we could come get this sweet baby! She was all by herself in a cage, and a shelter is no place for a puppy!! Katy is a 3-4 month old puppy that the shelter was calling an Aussie mix. If she is an Aussie mix, she will be a very small one. Right now she weighs 4-5 lbs. She is current on shots, been wormed, been spayed, and is microchipped. She is currently in foster, but needs a forever home so she can start her life!! She is good with other dogs, kids, and adults. She is a master cuddler, and loves to play!! Adoption fee is $75.00. For more information, or to meet her, contact Bob with Ready 2 Rescue @ 214-681-5978 or Jackie with Ready 2 Rescue @ 214-681-5963.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katy, a Rockwall Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Rockwall, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Rockwall.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rockwall already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rockwall breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rockwall paves the way for another one to be saved.
