My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi ya'll! My name is Jacob, JJ for short. I came all the way from Kentucky. My family could no longer care for me and called AGK. So here I am. Before I had my family, I was stuck in a cage for most of my first two years of my life and I injured my foot. They did not take care of it and now it's grown back kinda funny. It does not really bother me but my friends sometimes make fun of the way it looks. Hey - no one is perfect, right? So, a little bit about myself - I LOVE cats - they are the best. They make great cuddle friends. I am not a fan of stairs - never have been - they freak me out a little. I do like other dogs and love children. Other than being overweight (diet time), I am healthy. Oh, house broken too - I guess that is important to know that I am not going to have accidents in your house. So, I am quite perfect for a 7 year old Golden Retriever! Your friend, JJ!
