Abby's Story...
My name is Abby, for now. My new family can change it if they want. I haven't really blossomed into my true personality yet, so my name could really be anything. I am looking for a family who has lots of patience for a shy little dog who had a rough start to life. I was attacked by my littermates and came to SCS cut up and broken down. I am now healed physically, we are just still working on me emotionally. I have never felt love before like here at SCS and I know I like it!! I wish I had my very own family to concentrate all that new love on!! I am ready to bond with someone, is that someone you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a Salem Bulldog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bulldog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Salem, or seeking a Bulldog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bulldog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Bulldog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
