Gracie's Story...
Hi my name is Gracie. I am a 3 year old Labrador Retriever mix. I was brought to the Chino Valley Animal Shelter with my playmate when my owner could not afford to keep us. I am missing my front left leg up to the shoulder. I lost it when I was a puppy after I broke it, and it could not be saved. However, I am not hindered by my missing leg, and still have lots of energy. Also, my tail is a little crooked because it was broken when I was born. Nonetheless, this is just cosmetic and gives me a sweet goofy look. I love going on walks and playing with you. I would make a wonderful family pet, and have been around children with my previous owner. I would love to find a forever home where my new owners would understand the needs of a dog with three legs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Chino Valley Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Chino Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Chino Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chino Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chino Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chino Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
