Amina's Story...
Sweet Chocolate Labrador Mix is Ready for Adoption - Amina!

Say hello to Amina! She’s a beautiful 3-4 year old Chocolate lab female mix that’s as sweet as can be! Amina loves to snuggle with her foster parents, explore the backyard and play with her doggy friends! She is wonderful with children and dogs of all sizes. Amina was rescued from a high kill shelter in South Carolina and is looking for a “furever” family, she is so loyal and wants nothing more than to be loved! She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all shots, however she is currently on hold for one month while she undergoes heartworm treatment. She is currently being fostered in Annapolis, MD and is available for a meet and greet in the meantime!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amina, a Frederick Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Frederick, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Frederick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frederick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frederick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frederick paves the way for another one to be saved.
