Sparrow's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Sparrow's Story...
Sparrow is a male American Staffordshire Terrier who is about 5 years old. Sparrow is currently living in foster care where his foster parent reports he is a joy! Sparrow is housebroken, and exhibits a calm and mellow demeanor while in the home. He loves to go for walks, where he does well on a leash, and is very obedient when it comes to commands. Sparrow will, however, need an owner that will keep up with his training. Sparrow does not show much interest in other dogs, but he does not like dogs in his face, so he should not be allowed to go to a dog run. And the best home for Sparrow would be one that does not have other pets. But Sparrow loves people, and sometimes confuses himself with a lap dog, but that is just one of the many qualities that make him a wonderful companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparrow, a Brooklyn American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
