My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Layla is a sweet shepherd mix; she is about 2 years old, very friendly and submissive, easy to handle and a good size for a lot of situations; she is not too big for an apartment, and weighs about 45 lbs..I nice size for folks that like shepherds but dont want a large pure bred dog.Layla was diagnosed with erlichia (a tick borne disease similar to lyme), but shows no clinical signs and has been treated with doxycycline. Erlichia is not contagious and we do not expect Layla to have any complications from it. She is in a foster home and we are continuing to learn more about her. She doesnt seem to know what a toy is and may have never had any. She is very social and likes to say "hello" to everyone. She loves human affection and attention.
Layla is being fostered in Knoxville TN. Our orphans are delivered to the northeast every Saturday via USDA certified transport and come fully vetted with health certificates.
