Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jasper
1-2 yo Lilac Lynxpoint Himalayan
Jasper came to us when an older woman died. Her heirs raced quickly to dump him at the local Animal Shelter. Thankfully, the shelter staff knew we were going up that day, so they had the family meet us in the parking lot. Jasper was lucky to never have been inside a shelter where he might have been exposed to various illnesses. Jasper wasn't so lucky in the care he received prior to coming to us, though. He was so matted he had to be completely shaved, and he had flea dirt all over him. He is now working on becoming his handsome self once again. Even with his coat 1/2 grown in, you can see what a spectacular cat he'll be. He has an unusual face with very stunning round blue eyes.
He will need daily combing to keep his coat lush and silky, and his face needs to be washed once a day. Jasper is "ok" with other cats, but if they get right up in his face, he'll smack them. He would probably be OK with one or two other cats, but would be just as happy if he's the only cat.
Update October 2007: Just look at how beautiful Jasper is. His coat is growing back from a complete shave and soon he will be glorious. He has the most beautiful ice blue eyes you have ever seen. Jasper is fine with dogs, but would prefer to be an only cat. He is currently living in a foster home in Sacramento where he's staying with two other cats.
