Moose is a handsome, protective and loving, three-year-old, 55-pound, male Shepherd/Husky-mix looking for a loving guardian. Moose was abandoned in a home when his human moved. The poor dog had not been well-cared for and had contracted heartworm disease. He has since been cured. Moose tends to bond with one person, one couple or one family. He is very protective of those he loves. Moose will do best in a very calm and quiet home as the one and only pet. He loves to go for runs and walks, play ball and chew on his bones. His adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued pets. He is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and free of heartworm and on monthly preventative. Moose and the rest of the rescue dogs spend their days at the Famous Fido Dog Boutique and Bakery at 5430 N. Clark Street in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
