My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

River is a 3 year old blue merle male that has had a rough start in life. He's a sweet, soft dog that is learning how to be a normal dog again. He needs a patient owner, a quiet home, and someone that likes to run or walk on a regular basis. It's not that he's a high energy dog, but that he needs to get out and about on a regular basis to help with his recovery. The good thing is that he's super on a leash. His leash can be attached to your belt and you can run or walk hands-free as he doesn't pull and hangs out nicely at your side. He's good in the house, non-destructive, and likes belly rubs. This is a project dog, but in a fairly short period of time, with some more work, will be an amazing companion dog and well worth the effort.
