Violet's Story...
Meet the beautiful Violet! Violet is an english lab/shepherd mix from what we can tell. She is great with other dogs, kids of all ages, and cats. She LOVES to be around people and would do best in a home where she has someone that is home a lot.She craves attention but will go in her crate and rest when you need her to. She really enjoys being outside on nice days. She is young and playful and would love a canine buddy to be her playmate. This is a very sweet, fun dog with lots of personality and will make a wonderful companion. She is house and crate trained. All of our orphans are in foster homes in Knoxville TN and are transported to their new families every Saturday through USDA certified transporters and come with health certificates. If you are interested in Violet, please email kim.southernrootsrescue@gmail.com for info and an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Violet, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
