Monty (formal name Montgomery!), the cutest, sweetest staffie mix you ever find! Monty is nearly a year and so ready for a good home- he can smell it! Monty was the greeter at high kill Murray Co shelter in Chatsworth, GA when I came to get another and we just couldn’t pass him up. Monty is a high energy boy often looking for a play partner, a walk or a run. He is always friendly and extremely good natured and fortunately he won the hearts of shelter staff as pitties do not have any chance in Georgia. Now he’s in Federal Way waiting for you and an awesome new life! Monty is great with other dogs, though outside cats he will chase. He has been around small children and older seniors too. He will stick right by you on your walk (but somewhat ‘bouncy due to his excitement) and it was tough to get his photos as he is the Velcro dog! He mellows out in the house and super fun outdoors, Montgomery will be an easy one for you to perfect his training as he is smart, and eager to please. On the small side, Monty weighs only 38 lbs and needs to gain some as he too thin. He is house trained and crate trained, quiet in the house and is good in the car. He loves the sights, sounds and smells of outdoors and will be ready for that hike or run or walk whenever you are! For no more love than he has had in his short life, he is still so affectionate and easy going. He’ll roll over in a second for belly rubs and loves his treats so tricks, games and agility might be in store for his future family! Monty is neutered, current on all his vaccines, and micro-chipped. He is Heart worm negative and is ib boarding and day care at Simply Paws. He will continue to make you proud as you work with him and get to know him. His adoption fee is $300. He will be happy as an only dog or best bud to your other pup. You can tell that even though he was not loved, he knew something better would come along- and it has in the form of you!
