JOSHUA's Story...
Meet Joshua! A very handsome Red Heeler/Cattle Dog male who is about 10 months old and looking for that special Cattle dog savvy home. He is a great little guy. Not very big…maybe 30 pounds and could grow maybe another 10 pounds when he fully matures. Joshua is good with other dogs but of course if you know Heelers, he could stand up for himself if another dog tried to push him around. He is so loving and sweet and has all the best of the Cattle Dog traits. This will be a wonderful addition to any family who loves this breed. Won’t you give Joshua a place in your life? Why Adoption is a Great Option

JOSHUA, a Hagerstown Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
