Oz's Story...
Oz is a 3 year old Chihuahua that is looking for his forever home. He was possibly hit by a car when he was found by a good samaritan, and rushed to the vet's office for x rays and an exam. Luckily, he probably just had a brush with a car but nothing was broken or hurt! Oz can be a little shy at first but quickly warms up to you. Oz is a quiet, well mannered gentleman. Oz gets along with most other dogs and loves to play with his buddy Raven here at the shelter. Oz will go to his new home neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oz, a Mission Viejo Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
