Weston's Story...
Weston is an older dog who is looking for a loving home to help him live comfortably as every old dog should get to do! He is marked special needs because he has some discomfort in his joints and spine as he ages and requires daily anti-inflammatory medication to keep him feeling comforable. Weston has lots of energy and still enjoys lots of walks and running around in the yard, his great personality and energy level make it hard to believe he is about 12 years old. His medication is an important part of keeping Weston active and healthy so he can enjoy his life with you! To meet Weston in person please stop by the shelter on Tuesday or Saturday during our normal business hours. Tuesday or Saturday doesn't work for you? To meet the animals any day of the week please call for an appointment and the staff will be happy to set you up with a date and time to visit us! To make an adoption appointment we require that you submit an adoption application for
pre-approval, to download an application please visit our website at www.chippewahumane.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Weston, a Chippewa Falls Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Chippewa Falls, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Chippewa Falls.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chippewa Falls already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chippewa Falls breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chippewa Falls paves the way for another one to be saved.
