Kodi's Story...
Kodi is a 5 yr old boy that has lived outside all of his life. However, he was very much part of the family. There were lots of children around him and family events held in the backyard and Kodi enjoyed being part of it. He is a very mellow, calm, laid back guy that now wants to move into the house and be a companion to his family. He is a very large boy and is on a diet and exercise now to lose the much needed weight. Kodi was put through a board & train program when he was a puppy and completed the course with flying colors. He knows all his commands but needs a tune up to get back in the swing. From what we know about this beautiful boy he would do good in a home that will keep him on a strict diet and help him become healthy. He needs many walks a day and exercise to become the perfect weight for him. Once Kody is fit and trim he will spring back to life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kodi, a Denver German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Denver, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
