Lucy Bean--Ultimate Lap Cat's Story...
Lucy Bean is probably one of the sweetest cats I have ever met. She is so sweet, so loving, just the most affectionate girl and is truly an amazing and special girl. She is really awesome. Lucy Bean is a total lap cat. She wants to be your best friend forever. Watch the video and listen to her! Hard to miss all the purring!

Lucy was left behind in a hallway and taken to Animal Care and Control where thankfully we were able to rescue her! She has been spayed, tested neg for fiv/leuk, is up-to-date on all of her shots and is ready for a great new home.

If you would like to meet this super sweet cat, please contact Claire at catskittensnyc@gmail.com or call 718-455-5711 eves/weekends! Lucy Bean is currently at Petsmart at Avenue D and Remsen where she can be seen every day!

Thank you for thinking of a rescued cat. Every dime we take in goes to saving another kitty.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy Bean--Ultimate Lap Cat, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
