Rock's Story...
Even though Rock is ten years old, he sure doesn't act like it! This handsome Chocolate Lab is very energetic and just wants to play! Rock came to the shelter as a stray and is now patiently waiting to be adopted into his forever home. We believe that he would be great around other dogs and around children as long as they promise to throw him his ball every once in a while. Rock is probably housetrained and does know several commands. Come down and visit Rock today!

All adoptions include the following: spay or neuter surgery, 24HourPetWatch microchip with free year of registration, free vet exam voucher for any participating Cheyenne clinics, 30 day free 24HourPetWatch pet insurance

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rock, a Cheyenne Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Cheyenne, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cheyenne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cheyenne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cheyenne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cheyenne paves the way for another one to be saved.
