Miranda's Story...
Miranda is a very sweet 3 to 4 year old female Maltese who came from a Southern CA shelter. Miranda is an athletic, fun little dog as she loves to jump, run and play. Miranda’s best trick is when a person is sitting in a chair and taps their hand and say Miranda, she quick jumps in their lap. She is also very devoted and follows her foster mom and dad from room to room. Exploring a yard is one of her favorite things, but when you call “Miranda,” she runs quickly to the door.

Miranda’s hair was badly matted so she is now sporting a short hair, but when her hair grows out, she will be beautiful as she has such a lovely face. She is delight to photograph as she has so many cute expressions and tilts her head when you talk to her. This little, 8 lb. Maltese is the perfect companion pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miranda, a Ft. Bragg Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Ft. Bragg, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Ft. Bragg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Bragg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Bragg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Bragg paves the way for another one to be saved.
