Mollie's Story...
PERFECT AUSTIN DOGS! Mollie and Max are a bonded pair of fawn pug and mini long haired dachshund mixes. Both are extremely friendly and peky, 7 years old, spayed/neutered, and up to date on their vaccines. Max is the larger of the two at 28 lbs to Mollie's 17 lbs, and both are as sweet as can be. As mixes, both are very energetic and active, and would make great companions for walks or trips to the park, and since they are bonded, they can help each other to adjust to their new home. So will you be the one to open your home and your heart this adorable pair of pups? If so, apply online today through www.pugrescueaustin.com/adopt

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mollie, a Austin Pug/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Dachshund for sale in Austin, or seeking a Pug/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Dachshund breeders who help with Pug/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
