Hazel's Story...
Hazel came to New Moon Rabbit Rescue on 2 April 2013. She was surrender by her owner.

She was born in July 2011 and has been bounced from home to home her whole life. Hazel is very much hoping to find her REAL forever home soon. She is a very sweet and very active young lady. She loves toys, loves to dig and would like lots of chew toys to keep her occupied.

Hazel is litter trained and loves her hay. She does not particularly like being picked up, held or carried and will need someone who will respect this and allows her to stay on her own four paws (unless picking up/carrying cannot be avoided). Hazel is hoping for a free range or partially free range home, as she gets very upset when she has to be in a cage.

We make every effort to keep our rabbits profiles as up-to-date as possible but sometimes this is not possible. If you are interested in adopting Hazel and have any question about her, please email info@newmoonrabbitrescue.ca

Hazel is available for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hazel, a North Gower Lop-Eared was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lop-Eared for sale in North Gower, or seeking a Lop-Eared from a breeder in North Gower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Gower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Gower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lop-Eared breeders who help with Lop-Eared rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Gower paves the way for another one to be saved.
