Buster's Story...
Why, hello there! I'm Buster! I'm a goofy ol' lug who was found as a stray running around Bear Creek, WI. My estimated birthdate is July, 2012. While my size may be reminiscent of a pony, I'm the most lovely giant dog that you'll ever meet! The best part of my day is when someone takes a moment to scratch my ears and rub my belly! I'm super-duper excited to find a forever home of my own, because I hear that I'll get ear scratches and belly rubs ALL THE TIME there!! Wahoo! Boy, I sure hope you'll stop down by HEA's Green Bay Adoption Center to meet me soon! I'll be there weeknights from 6-8 pm, and weekends from 11 am-4 pm! Hugs and sloppy kisses, Buster

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Green Bay Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
