Amy's Story...
Look at me! My name is Amy and im the precious princess of my litter ! I am a dachsund chihuahua mix and my brother and sister and I were dumped off at a kill shelter when we were only five weeks old! My approximate d.o.b. is March 15th. I am only about 3 lbs right now and I will not be a very big at all when im grown up. I have a very cute short tail that I was born with. I love people a whole lot. I love playing with my siblings too! My foster moms cat is WAYYYY bigger than me so I dont play much with him but I do like him! I like to drag around toys and play with them and im working on wee wee pad training but like I said, im just a youngster so that will take some time. I even love to cuddle and would be so happy to find a family of my own. I will be spayed and ready to come to my new home on May 3rd weekend. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amy, a Washington Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Washington, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
