McKinley's Story...
McKinley is an adorable mini Eskie girl, a little shy, but as sweet as can be! McKinley is a young adult Eskie with biscuit colored patches mixed in with the white fur. She's fairly quiet. She loves to cuddle. McKinley gives hugs back too! She will stand up on her back legs to ask for attention and wrap her front legs (arms) around you when you hold her. She walks nicely on leash. She gets along with other dogs. She seems uninterested in cats. As we get to know her better, we will update her listing!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

McKinley, a Elmhurst American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog for sale in Elmhurst, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Elmhurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmhurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmhurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmhurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
