Meet Valentine. Valentine has arthritis in her spine, which we believe is a direct result of coming from an abusive home. She was an owner surrender several years ago and hasn't looked back once. Valentine is unbelievably sweet, and is incredibly affectionate. She loves a good slow walk, and is still very mobile despite her condition. However, because of Valentine's back, she would be best in a house with older kids-- who can understand that it is often very painful for her to have someone touch her spine. It would also be best if she were in a house with only one other dog, or was the single spoiled one in the family..... because she LOVES to be the center of attentions..... and frankly, why not... she deserves it!
Valentine weighs around 30 pounds, and because she loves a clean pen, she would more than likely house train extremely quickly.
Sadly because of her arthritis, she is passed up for adoption time and time again. This is so hard for us, because we know what a sweet dog she is, and how much she would rather be sleeping in a warm bed
