Huey is one of our few extra large dogs weighing around 100+ pounds. Underneath the streets of Jackson MS, below the tall buildings of downtown, is a strange cavernous place where the town creek flows under the busy streets. This is where we found Huey and his brothers, Dewie and Louie. A group of about 20 volunteers from various rescue groups lent a hand, and after some time we finally managed to catch these puppies. They were so tiny, but it didn't take long before we realized that this group was soon to becoming the largest group at the shelter. We know that the mother of these dogs are was a lab/shepard mix, but we believe these puppies could also have some great dane in them..... because they are HUGE! Huey will need someone who understands large dog and is willing to take this extra large pup on long walks. He is super sweet and loves to play. Come meet him today!
