Jake's Story...
Hi my name is Jake. I am about 9-10 months old. I am a sweet little fella and I love attention. I love to be a lap dog. I love to watch T.V. I would enjoy being able to sleep in my humans bed at night because I like to snuggle. I love to have my ears and head scratched. I get very excited when I get to go on car rides. I would love to have a fenced in yard to play in. I stay in the house to sleep, I am crate trained and I love leash walks. I could be someones best friend. I am a wonderful dog and companion. I love to give kiss and I promise to always greet you with a tail wag.
If you are interested in adopting Jake, email kim.southernrootsrescue@gmail.com for more info and an application.
Our orphans are delivered to the northeast every Saturday via USDA certified transport and come fully vetted with health certificates. Jake is located near Knoxville TN

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a Manchester Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Manchester, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Manchester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manchester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manchester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manchester paves the way for another one to be saved.
