TANSY's Story...
Tansy is a 4-5yr old female Beagle who had been abandoned due to her lack of enthusiasm for hunting. She is just a sweet lovebug! So affectionate, laid back, adorable. She was heartworm positive last year, was treated and is now negative. She walks well on a leash except when she is in a hurry to go inside the house; then she races. She loves to be in her crate, especially if it is chair-height.. Please give this little girl a chance to have a family love her. She does great wt kids. She needs to be reminded to go outside on a leash to eliminate.
Although Tansy is currently in Amite, Louisiana, transport to New England can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TANSY, a Groton Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Groton, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
