May Lee's Story...
May Lee was found running around a busy street by one of our volunteers. We attempted to find her home and have not had any luck. We aren’t sure why because she is so sweet and affectionate. She is approx. 45 lbs and thinks she’s a lap dog because sitting w/ you is her favorite! She is very well behaved for being a young gal. May Lee is an active girl and often gets the zoomies first thing in the morning, although she calms down quickly after she gets them out! She walks well on leash and is great with anyone she comes across from children to adults. If you love hiking, biking, jogging, or camping this is the perfect girl for you! She is definitely one that will be able to keep up with an active lifestyle. May Lee has been fostered with both male and female dogs and she has been perfect with both! She tends to chase cats, so a cat free home is best for her. May Lee is very eager to learn and is doing great on her obedience with her foster parents.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

May Lee, a Sacramento Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
