Meet Hancho! Hancho is about 6 years old and was dumped at the OC shelter by his owners. He was at the shelter for almost 2 months before The Pet Rescue Center rescued him. The volunteers at the shelter loved him so much that they made sure The Pet Rescue Center had a chance to meet with him before leaving. We fell in love and brought him back to our center, where he quickly became a favorite with our volunteers. Hancho likes to play and would love a warm lap and someone to snuggle him up. He love hugs! He can guarantee a life-time of companionship if you bring him home! He just needs a second chance!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
