Mittens's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mittens's Story...
Mittens is a one-year-old Ragdoll-mix, a beautiful and very gentle female. She came to us pregnant and after proving to be a fabulous mom to her six kittens, she is ready for some loving herself. Mittens has big blue eyes, four white paws, and is small in stature, but purrs like a lioness. She has a small voice and will 'talk' to you. She also comes to you when you call her. Mittens would be a good addition to any loving home, she was good with cats and dogs and not freaked out by a room filled with preschoolers. She just wants to be loved.

Mitten's adoption fee is $80; she is up to date with routine shots, micro-chipped and will be altered before adoption.

Some of our dogs/cats are in foster homes; please call the shelter to check on their location. For more information on Mittens, please call 618-282-7387.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mittens, a Columbia Ragdoll cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ragdoll for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Ragdoll cat from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ragdoll breeders who help with Ragdoll rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
