Sammie's Story...
Sammie is a young female Husky mix. We pulled her from shelter when her time was up. Although we are unsure of her background or how she ended up there, we do know her future is off to an excellent start! She is now safe and being showered with love by her foster family. She has a beautiful tan coat with those husky trademark eyes, one brown and one blue. We believe she was someone’s pet at one time. She is extremely intelligent and has picked up on commands quickly. Sammie knows sit, stay and down, and she is ready to learn more with the right family. Her foster family has been working with her on walking on a leash and she is improving every day. She is a young dog that loves to play and would do best in a home with a fenced in yard. Sammie is a dominant female. Although she loves to play with other dogs she needs to be the only dog in the house.
To help Sammie get acclimated to her new home, the adoption fee includes 1 complimentary training session with the rescue’s trainer.

If you would like to make Sammie a forever member of your family please apply on line at Animal Aid Foundation Adoption and Foster Application

The adoption fee is $125 and includes: spay, microchip, vaccines, and 1 in home complimentary training session with the rescue’s trainer.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammie, a Rochester Hills Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Rochester Hills, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Rochester Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
