Sammie is a young female Husky mix. We pulled her from shelter when her time was up. Although we are unsure of her background or how she ended up there, we do know her future is off to an excellent start! She is now safe and being showered with love by her foster family. She has a beautiful tan coat with those husky trademark eyes, one brown and one blue. We believe she was someone’s pet at one time. She is extremely intelligent and has picked up on commands quickly. Sammie knows sit, stay and down, and she is ready to learn more with the right family. Her foster family has been working with her on walking on a leash and she is improving every day. She is a young dog that loves to play and would do best in a home with a fenced in yard. Sammie is a dominant female. Although she loves to play with other dogs she needs to be the only dog in the house.
To help Sammie get acclimated to her new home, the adoption fee includes 1 complimentary training session with the rescue’s trainer.
