ADOPTED MAY 2013 Meet Shadow! He is a 3 to 5-year-old, 72-lb, housetrained, very healthy, neutered, Border Collie / Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) who is great with dogs, has no experience with cats, and has some experience with children and doesn't seem to mind them, older children only please. He will be given all shots before going to his new home. He loves to be with his people, hence the name Shadow, however is fine and non-destructive when left at home alone. Shadow loves to play, go for runs in the woods, and be outside when his people are outside, and come in when they do. His owner will be "on the road" starting soon and though it breaks his heart, is unable to take Shadow with him. His foster mom says: "He's a REALLY good boy! Couldn't be sweeter, and loves to have fun!" He is a working dog at heart - he listens to commands really well. Shadow LOVES affection! In addition to his canned food, he loves munching on vegetables and fruit, especially pineapples! (perhaps the key to his great health?) His owner describes Shadow as "truly my best friend, a loyal companion, as well as the best-behaved dog I've ever had - a real pleasure, that's for sure!" Sound like the dog for you? Inquire today!
