Dottie & Ziggy's Story...
Dottie and her bud Ziggy are victims of senior citizens no longer wanted by their owners. They look amazingly sprite and healthy for their age and so cute, even at 10 yrs old. We know a 10 and 11 yre old are almost impossible to place but believe someone out there may just have the heart to take one of these and show them compassion and a safe place to live. They probably have several more good years left . NO doubt they are good dogs and probably already trained. Please contact the shelter at 704 736 4125 if you can save Dottie or Ziggy. They are open 11to 4:30 daily except Sunday at 650John HOwell Memorial DRive in Lincolnton. these poor dogs are defintiley on borrowed time. IF you want to help, Please don't delay.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dottie & Ziggy, a Lincolnton Basset Hound/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Beagle for sale in Lincolnton, or seeking a Basset Hound/Beagle dog from a breeder in Lincolnton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincolnton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincolnton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Beagle breeders who help with Basset Hound/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincolnton paves the way for another one to be saved.
