Lexi's Story...
Hello Everyone,
Who’s looking for a petite, neat, sweet little treat? If you are, there’s someone you should meet – me! I’m Lexi and I’m 11 pounds of Bichon fluff who is sweeter than any cotton candy you’ve ever tasted. In my 5 short years I haven’t met a lap that didn’t fit me perfectly or a comfy place I couldn’t curl up in. Why I’m such an adorable and friendly little girl that everyone asks for me by name!
My foster mom says I am just the best cuddler ever and that I love everyone I meet. I love big people and small people and other FurKids, too. (I’m not wild about elephants and giraffes but if you don’t have any, I would be perfect!) I also love to prance and bounce and engage my doggy foster brothers in a game of ‘play.’ Mom says I know when it’s play time and when it’s quiet time and that shows how smart I am!
While I’m always very gentle and always lady-like, I’m not a wall flower! I'm sometimes a little shy but I have this very curious nature -- and I like to explore. There’s a whole big, friendly world out there and I’m happy to be a part of it! I’m also potty trained, come when I’m called, know ‘sit’ and ‘stay’ already (and want to learn more!) am an excellent passenger (in the car, that is) and love my walks. And guess what I like to do after a long walk? You got it – CUDDLE and SNUGGLE! Mom says I’m so darn sweet that you will want to do just that!
Mom says I’m a treasure who fits in anywhere. So if you are looking for a darling little girl with the sweetest nature in the world, who is friendly, loving, attentive, mellow and a tiny bit shy, please ask for me.
Tail wags and snuggles await you,
Lovely, Lithe and Loving Lexi

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lexi, a La Costa Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in La Costa, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in La Costa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Costa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Costa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Costa paves the way for another one to be saved.
