RAINEY's Story...
Rainey is a wonderful pup, approx.18 months old. Rainey's foster mommy says she is an active girl and enjoys playing, going for walks and being your buddy. She gets along well with other dogs and ignores her foster's cats. She is house broken, crate trained, spayed and up to date on immunizations and is microchipped. Rainey loves food and it makes her easy to train as she loves her treats. She had her haircut for summer and looks great. She will make a wonderful addition to your home.

Rainey was rescued from high kill San Bernardino shelter where we got her with a fractured pelvis. A day after we got her from the shelter and to our vet she was diagnosed with parvo. Rainey had to be quarantined and contained to a crate due to her fracture. She is just getting use to be a puppy again and has not been tested with small children, but due to her previous pelvis injury no children under the age of 10 we feel would be best.

We require an application, home check, contract, spay/neuter or deposit (if too young for spay/neuter at time of adoption) and adoption donation. RAINEY 's adoption donation is $250.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RAINEY, a Mission Viejo Havanese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a Havanese dog from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese breeders who help with Havanese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
