Kayla is a 6 week old (4/16) female Pomeranian/ Sheltie mix. She has a great personality, and loves to run around and play!

Her mother is 20 pounds, father is unknown. We are expecting her to be 30 pounds or less, though we can't guarantee that!

E-Mail disneysdogrescue@yahoo.com for a adoption application.

The adoption fee of $300 covers the cost of micro chipping, all vaccinations and wormer, up to date according with the age. As well as a thorough vet check up prior to leaving us, and the issuing of a USDA health certificate needed to cross state lines (if transporting). Our animals are current on heart worm and flea prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kayla, a Kittery Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Pomeranian puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Pomeranian for sale in Kittery, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Pomeranian puppy from a breeder in Kittery.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kittery already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kittery breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Pomeranian breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kittery paves the way for another one to be saved.
