Beethoven's Story...

Loving Foster Home Needed

Such a handsome boy! If you like big, Beethoven is for you! He is a 3-year-old St. Bernard. Very tall and very large, weighing about 140#, but we don’t know for sure. He was rescued from Animal Control when his owner refused to pay the fine to take him home. Beethoven likes to run, so he will need a fenced in yard to make sure he stays safe at home.

Beethoven loves attention and will become your shadow quickly. He gets along with other large dogs and children. He doesn’t like small dogs that get up in his face, so we are guessing that he doesn’t like cats either. He is housetrained.

Beethoven is a great dog! Who wants to make him a permanent member of their family?

This dog's adoption fee is $300 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if we feel it is needed), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application. If you'd like to have an application emailed to you, just email us. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beethoven, a Wyoming St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Wyoming, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Wyoming.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wyoming already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wyoming breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wyoming paves the way for another one to be saved.
