Mojo was surrendered to the shelter because a new member of his family was abusive. Poor Mojo did nothing wrong, however, the newcomer just did not appreciate dogs. He is very happy to be out of that situation and is thriving in his foster home.
Mojo is three years old and about 50 pounds. He is mostly cattle dog, and we aren't sure what is he is mixed with, but shepherd and corgi are possiblities. Mojo adores his foster family, but takes some time to warm up to strangers. He is not aggressive, but he "alarm barks" until he is sure he is safe. He gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home, and true to the cattle dog breed, he tries to herd them, but usually winds up playing with them instead.
Mojo can jump straight into the air to catch a treat or a toy, and loves to cuddle. He enjoys going for walks, and would probably be great off leash. He knows the sit, shake, and down commands. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all his shots, and housebroken. He does not need to be crated; his foster family leaves him free in the house while they are at work/school and he is perfectly behaved.
