Almond's Story...
Almond-Beagle/JRT male puppy 12 weeks (April 2013)

Almond and his sibling are the cutiest puppies, about 3 mo. now, they are ready to find their new
families. Left to find their way in a high kill rural shelter at the tiny age of 6-8 weeks...there wasn't
much chance that they would survive that experience. Their health was in grave danger but an
angel smiled on them and said she would foster them while they got healthy and strong again.
She is a Vet Tech and Rescue Volunteer. The puppies have charmed her for the past 6-8 weeks
and are now ready to do the same with their forever families. Almond's adoption fee is $275 to
help cover the medical expenses of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Almond, a Germantown Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
