Adam's Info...

Adam's Story...
When Adam arrived at the adoption center with his best friend Eve. They were both terrified, Adam and Eve had to be carried through the adoption center in order to bring them in and out. Neither would look us in the eye and they would just slink around. Adam had never worn a collar or been on a leash before so this was also something he overcame. We always noticed that no matter how scared either dog was, they were always comforted knowing the other was close by. Adam feels much more comfortable being around other dogs. Adam is a completely different dog then he was when he first arrived. He is always smiling and is very excited to see us everyday! We no longer have to carry Adam from place to place, he is a very confident and brave boy. Adam seems to be so thankful that he found people that care about him! He is learning things everyday and is starting to feel comfortable going for walks. Adam can't wait until he can start a great life with a new family!
When Adam is adopted he will be neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and come with much more!

Act quickly to adopt Adam. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Adam, a Cold Lake German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Cold Lake, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Cold Lake.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cold Lake already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cold Lake breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cold Lake paves the way for another one to be saved.
