Lil Bit's Story...
Lil Bit is a small orange tabby with white female. She is a fun cat and loves to strike poses for the camera Lil Bit is a sweet and curious older kitten, about 7 months old - she loves to crawl up in your lap and purr away. She also loves to run around the house and play hide and seek behind the couch with you. We think she'd love to have a child as a play mate.

Lil Bit had a home, but didn't get on with the cats there, probably because she was just thrown in with them rather than a slow introduction being facilitated, which is what we recommend. She gets on just fine with the cats in her current foster home, so we feel confident that after a slow introduction, she will do well with cats and dogs alike.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lil Bit, a Bentonville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bentonville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bentonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bentonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bentonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bentonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
