Morgan's Story...
Morgan is a wonderful chocolate lab looking for a forever home! She is approximately 5 year old, spayed, and healthy (though a little overweight). She is excellent with other dogs, and shows no interest in cats. She is potty trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands. She is used to being crated when left home alone. She loves walks! She pulls on the leash, and gets excited when she sees strangers while out, but with some training she should be just fine. She is friendly when she meets new people. She gets excited and does a little hop with her front legs, but she settles down quickly. In fact, whenever she gets excited she does an adorable little tap dance with her front feet- super cute :) She is very affectionate and loves ear scratches! She likes to relax with her humans, but will also need some exercise to keep her from getting antsy. She doesn't bark much and has a quiet and polite disposition.

Morgans adoption fee is $275, and includes her spay surgery and up to date vaccinations. If interested in learning more about Morgan, please email her foster at kaandaw@gmail.com with any questions. For an adoption application, please email jvsrivero@comcast.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Morgan, a Livermore Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Livermore, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Livermore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Livermore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Livermore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Livermore paves the way for another one to be saved.
