found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed and up to date with shots.
In sunlight the gold in her beautiful fur glitters and gleams. When I first saw her she was being transferred from one car to another in the bright California sunlight and my heart leapt up and I thought I had never seen such a beauty. Her eyes are very green. She is a fairly small girl , very lean and sleek, about 8.5 pounds.
She is definitely an Alpha girl. No question about that!! In her
previous foster home she would groom the kittens, tolerate the ten year old female cat and as the mood struck her she would go and smack the young male cats. Didn't necessarily hurt anything except their pride which was probably the point, making sure they knew their place. She was good with the dog and a dog companion would probably be a very good playmate for her.. I don't want to set her up with male cats or other alpha female cats. Humans are fine, she clearly loves them and enjoys affection. Niobe would NOT be good home alone all day while her human or humans went off to work. She is an active girl and needs entertainment and a playmate and climbing trees and lots to do. A very secure outside catio with climbing options would be great for her. She is very smart and would appreciate smart humans who want to give her focus attention and connect with her..
Since she is two to three years old I doubt she is going to get much bigger. She is all wire and muscle and electricity. Living with her would be like living with a walking sculpture who would cuddle and kiss you- on her terms of course. She loves water and is happy to drink out of a faucet. I don't know how she would do with a shower or tub. You might have company. Niobe needs a fairly large home and will carefully inspect every corner of it every day. This is not a sleep on the couch and welcome you when you come home little
fluffball. If you travel a lot you probably don't want to adopt a
bengal. She will also talk to you and let you know it is dinnertime or that she would o loved to play with you.. Bengals even more than most cats need food containing real meat. Corn and grains will make them ill and many bengals flourish on raw meat diets. On the ride home with me Niobe talked about half the time but it was in a nice tone of voice and I didn't mind listening to her life story. In this bio I am emphasizing her energy and alpha qualities but she really is a very good natured, well behaved, nice girl.
Niobe is sparkling with health, eats well, is perfect with her litterbox. She is ready to go take charge of her home. She is of course spayed, microchipped ,vaccinated , combo tested, wormed etc.
This girl is almost impossible to photograph since she is in constant motion. I will try to get photos that do her justice soon.
( Don't hold your breath )
Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
