Bella's Story...
Meet Isabella (Miss Bella for short). She is a beautiful purebred yellow lab who was purchsed as a puppy and loved but long story short...her owners are moving and they needed someone to take her. Bella is stunning with her copper nose and gold eyes. She is 20 months old and weighs approximately 90lbs. Bella gets along great with other dogs and loves to run and play. She gets very bonded with her person and follows them like shadow. Bella is smart but can be a bit stubborn lol. She knows heel, sit, and at one point she was housebroken. Bella loves older children (ages 10 and up) but younger children can frighten her. Bella has been spayed, is up-to-date with vaccinations and will be heartworm tested, given a fecal exam (dewormer if needed), microchipped, and given flea preventative. If you are interested in a loving life-long companion, please email bettinav@hotmail.com for more info.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Hazard Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Hazard, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Hazard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazard paves the way for another one to be saved.
