Mandy's Story...
DOB: June 17, 2008

Mandy is not a lap cat or a hugger but she is an interesting cat and quite a character. She gave birth in the shelter and at that time she was very fearful of people and did not like to be touched. She has turned into a serene cat who watches everything that goes on with such an adorable expression that she is hard to resist. She now likes to be stroked and asks for more when you stop. There is definitely something about Mandy that is most appealing and different. For someone who wants a companion cat who is always there but who does not want a cat who constantly seeks attention Mandy would be an excellent choice.

About North Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

North Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered Canadian charrity made up of dedicated volunteers concerned with the welfare of all cats and kittens. We rescue, foster, provide veterinary care (including blood testing, vaccines and spay/neuter) and arrange adoptions for abandoned or rescue felines.

For ten years, North Toronto Cat Rescue has been helping hundreds of souls in need wherever we find them, offering love, nourishment, safety, medical care and the hope of a "forever" home.

We are not a spay/neuter and release group as we believe all these animals deserve comfot, warmth and love, particularly during the long cold winter days here in Canada. They will remain with us until they find a permanent home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Currently, we have a private Shelter for our animals so it is by appointment only. However we also have a partnership with Pet Value in Aurora (Bayview and Aurora Road) where many cats and kittens are also housed.

We attend local Fairs, Events such as "All About Pets" Show in Toronto, for example, and other fund-raising events during the year in the Toronto area.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adooption contract is found on-line.
