Gypsy's Story...
Arizona Golden Retriever Connection needs your help. Please read the whole post. Today our shelter walker, Dana, went to the Westside shelter to check on a possible Golden Retriever. There was Mandie, a 6 year old Golden Retriever whose owner had passed away and Mandie had been turned into the shelter. The story continues with not only Mandie being turned in but her best pal, Gypsy, an 8 year old Weimaraner, AND Merlin a 12 year old cat. Arizona Golden Retriever Connection could not just take the Golden Retriever and leave the rest of her family at the shelter so we took all three. We are desperately looking for a foster or forever family for all three or at the least Mandie and Gypsy staying together. Please email us at info@azgrc.org if you would consider fostering or adopting. You would still have to go through the approval process but we would fast track the application. Please share with your friends that might be interested in helping this fur family stay together. They have lost their owner and their home and need to get out of Boarding and start putting their lives back together

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gypsy, a Scottsdale Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
